The book that I'm reading is called " Angelina Jolie, Celebrity with a Heart." Its by Michael A. Schuman. The book is an biography.
Angelina Jolie was born on June 4, 1975, in Los Angeles, California. Her real name is Angelina Jolie Voight. Fun fact, Angelina means " pretty little angel"in Italian. Her nickname is Angie. Jolie's father, Jon Voight, began making hit movies in the late 1960s. Jon Voight married a young actress named Marcheline Bertrand in 1971. Jolie emphasized that is not true. She said, "My mother is as far from French Parisian as you can get... She's part Iroquois Indian, from Chicago. She grew up in a bowling alley that my grandparents owned." They had a son in 1973. He's name is James Haven Voight. When James was born, Betrand devoted her life to being a mother. When Angel was born in 1975, Bertrand had given up her dreams of acting. Before Angelina was a year old, her father decided he no logger wanted to be married. So, Voight left his family, he left Bertrand to raise two preschool children on her own. Voight was no longer part of Bertrand's life, the two did not divorce until 1978. Los Angeles  has a smog problem, which can take a toll on people's bathing's health, so Bertrand took her two kids and settled in a place with cleaner are. Palisades, New York. Palisades is a quiet town about 25 miles north of bustling New York City. To Angelina, It did not affect her from Moving to a new home. In the 1980s, Angelina had bit part with her father in the movie "Looking to Get Out". She moved with her family to Beverly Hills, California enrolls in Lee Strasberg  Theater Institute, and she had dropped out of Beverly Hills Hight School briefly. She went back to school, but she said " Thirteen and fourteen years old, that  was a bad time." She was experimenting with drugs. She collected knives and cropped with her unhappy life, she even cute herself on a regular basis. She said "For some reason the ritual of having cut myself and feeling the pain, maybe, feeling alive, feeling some kid of release, it was somehow therapeutic to me".

I like reading this type of books because, you can learn about someone's life and how he/she became famous. As you read this trips of books, you can learn what to do or what not to do. The interesting part of this book so far is that Angelia Jolie's father is famous, and now Angelia Jolie is famous. She works with her father, for she can be better at acting. I know this because she had "bit part with her father in the movie Lookin' To Get Out".
